These Terms govern your use of the Somewhere travel-planning app and related services and form an agreement between you and NP, trading as NP Somewhere (“we,” “us” or the “Company”). Please read them before using the Service.

2. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms take effect when you accept them in the Service or begin guest use after they are made available. The Service is not available to children under 14. If you are under 18, use it only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person.
3. The Service
Somewhere provides trip creation and storage, maps and places, invitation-based sharing and collaboration, images, expenses and settlements, optional AI trip generation/conversation/itinerary editing, and import of supported content from a Triple share link you provide. Features can depend on device, operating system, location, consent, subscription and third-party availability.
4. Accounts
Protect your sign-in account and credentials. Do not transfer, lend or share the account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may offer limited guest features without an account.
5. Paid services, renewal and cancellation
We may offer Somewhere Pro with ad removal, increased limits and weekly AI credits. Before purchase, the app marketplace shows the price and currency, taxes where applicable, billing period, trial and conversion details, automatic renewal, how to cancel and when paid features begin. Payment is collected by Apple App Store or Google Play under its payment terms.
The subscription renews for the displayed period unless you cancel before the next renewal. You can turn off renewal at any time in the marketplace subscription settings and normally retain paid features until the paid period ends. Deleting the app, signing out, deleting the Somewhere account or stopping use does not cancel a marketplace subscription. Price changes and free-to-paid conversions follow applicable law and marketplace notice and consent rules.
6. AI credits
- Credits are usage units, are not sold separately and cannot be converted to cash, transferred or combined across accounts.
- A successful AI trip generation uses 5 credits; a successful AI conversation or itinerary-edit response uses 2. Failed input validation or provider requests are not charged.
- Active Pro members receive 300 credits each Monday at 00:00 UTC. Unused weekly credits do not roll over.
- A verified rewarded ad earns 10 credits, up to 30 times per UTC day. Eligible new accounts receive 10 sign-up credits.
- Weekly credits are used before earned credits. Earned credits currently have no periodic reset, but the balance is deleted with the account.
7. Refunds
Submit refund requests through the marketplace that processed the purchase: Apple or Google Play. Contact us for billing errors, purchase restoration or missing access. This section does not limit refund, cancellation or other rights that cannot be waived under applicable federal or state law.
8. User content and sharing
You retain rights in content you create or add and give us permission to host, reproduce and display it only as needed to provide, operate and secure the Service. Rights in imported content remain with the original owner. The legal status of AI output depends on applicable law; we do not promise exclusive copyright.
Invited tripmates can view and, if permitted, edit trip titles, dates, places, notes, images, expenses and settlements. Review permissions before sharing. Do not upload content unless you have the rights and consents needed, including for another person’s data, photo or receipt.
9. Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse another person’s account or information; infringe rights; upload illegal, defamatory, obscene, violent, deceptive or harmful content; scrape or access the Service by automated means; exploit vulnerabilities; interfere with operation; use the Service commercially without permission; evade usage or credit controls; or violate law or these Terms.
10. Content and account actions
For a lawful and proportionate reason, including a serious violation, fraud, security risk or legal requirement, we may remove content, limit sharing, suspend a feature or close an account. We provide notice where reasonably possible unless prohibited by law or immediate action is necessary. To report content or appeal an action, email contact@npsomewhere.com with relevant details.
11. AI, maps and imports
AI responses, maps, places, routes, opening hours, budgets and imported information are planning aids and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify important travel, safety, booking and price details with the original source. AI editing does not modify the server itinerary until you choose to apply a proposal. Triple imports can omit data and do not transfer every booking, payment or collaborator account.
12. Changes and availability
We may update, change or temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, technical or security issues, force majeure or failure of a necessary provider. We give advance notice when reasonably practicable. If a material change adversely affects a paid service, remedies required by applicable law remain available.
13. Closing an account
You may close your account through the in-app deletion feature or by contacting us. Data is handled under the U.S. Privacy Policy, which also describes selected diagnostic reports sent to Sentry when configured. Closing the account does not cancel a marketplace subscription.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service and planning information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that maps, AI outputs, availability, routes or prices are error-free or suitable for a specific trip. Some states do not allow certain implied-warranty exclusions, so an exclusion may not apply to you. Nothing excludes a warranty or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by your environment or conduct, content supplied by users, inaccurate third-party travel information, or events beyond reasonable control. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct or any mandatory consumer right. State law may give you additional rights and may make part of this section inapplicable.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may amend the Terms for a valid reason and within the law. We identify the effective date and provide advance notice of a materially unfavorable change. Continued use does not replace affirmative consent when law requires it. If you disagree, stop using the Service and close your account before the change takes effect.
17. Governing law and disputes
The laws of the Republic of Korea govern these Terms, without depriving you of non-waivable protections under applicable U.S. federal or state law. A dispute may be brought in any court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive a right to a jury trial or class proceeding that applicable law preserves.
